103.1 Central FM is an independent local radio station serving the Forth Valley region of Scotland, including Falkirk, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire. Launched on 4 June 1990 as Centresound, the station faced financial challenges early on and subsequently partnered with Radio Forth. In 1993, it rebranded to Central FM and has since evolved under various ownerships, with businessman John Quinn acquiring it in 2008.

The station broadcasts a mix of adult contemporary music, local news, and community-focused programming, aiming to be the voice of the Forth Valley.
