Angel Radio Isle of Wight is a community radio station based in West Cowes, Isle of Wight, dedicated to providing nostalgic music and entertainment for listeners aged 60 and above. The station was founded by Tony Smith in 1999, with its first FM broadcast occurring in the autumn of that year. Following successful short-term broadcasts, Angel Radio Isle of Wight was granted a full-time community radio license by Ofcom and commenced 24-hour broadcasting on 24th March 2007 on 91.5 FM.

The station’s programming includes a diverse range of music from the early 20th century through the 1960s, along with classic comedy shows such as Hancock’s Half Hour, The Goon Show, and Life with the Lyons. Additionally, Angel Radio Isle of Wight features adventure serials like Journey into Space and The Lone Ranger, catering to the tastes and interests of its older audience.
