About BBC Radio Ulster
BBC Radio Ulster is the BBC’s national radio station for Northern Ireland, launched on 1 January 1975. It replaced the BBC Northern Ireland opt-out from BBC Radio 4, providing a dedicated service with local news, talk, music, and sport.
Broadcasting from Broadcasting House in Belfast, the station offers a diverse range of programming, including flagship shows like Good Morning Ulster, The Nolan Show, Talkback, and Across the Line.
It is the most widely listened-to radio station in Northern Ireland, with a weekly audience of 462,000 as of March 2024.
