Capital Birmingham - Live

Capital Birmingham is a local radio station owned and operated by Global as part of the Capital network. It broadcasts to Birmingham, Sandwell, and the Black Country from studios at Brindleyplace in Birmingham City Centre.

Programming includes a mix of chart-topping contemporary hit music, national shows from the Capital network, local news, traffic updates, and advertising tailored to the Birmingham area.

The station originally launched on 1 January 1995 as Choice FM, later rebranding to Galaxy and then Capital Birmingham in January 2011. In April 2019, it merged with Capital East Midlands to form Capital Midlands, continuing to serve Birmingham and surrounding areas with regional content.
