Originally launched on 28-08-1990 as Radio Harmony, the station became Kix 96 in 1995 before transitioning to Touch FM and later Touch Radio. In December 2019, following a merger of six regional stations, it joined the Capital network and rebranded as Capital Coventry, becoming part of the wider Capital Mid-Counties franchise.

Under Global’s ownership, Capital Coventry broadcasts a mix of locally tailored content alongside popular shows from London, ensuring a blend of national hits and regional relevance.
