Capital South Wales - Live

Capital South Wales is a regional contemporary hit radio station serving Cardiff, Newport, and surrounding areas in South East Wales. It is owned by Communicorp UK and operated by Global as part of the Capital network. The station originally launched on 11 April 1980 as CBC (Cardiff Broadcasting Company) and underwent several rebrands before adopting its current name in 2011 following the merger of Global’s Hit Music and Galaxy networks.

Programming includes national shows from the Capital network, with local news updates, traffic information, and advertising tailored to the South Wales area. The station broadcasts from studios in Cardiff Bay.
