Capital Wrexham + Chester - Live

Capital Wrexham & Chester is a regional contemporary hit radio station serving Wrexham, Chester, and surrounding areas in North East Wales and Cheshire. It is owned and operated by Global as part of the Capital network. The station originally launched on 5 September 1983 as Marcher Sound, later rebranding to MFM 97.1, and subsequently to Coast 96.3. In 2010, it merged with other regional stations to form Heart North West & Wales, and in 2014, it rebranded to Capital North West and North Wales.

Programming includes national shows from the Capital network, with local news updates, traffic information, and advertising tailored to the Wrexham and Chester area. The station broadcasts from studios in Wrexham.
