Capital Yorkshire South & West - Live

Capital Yorkshire South & West is a regional radio station serving the South and West Yorkshire areas, including Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, and surrounding communities. As part of the Capital FM Network, it delivers contemporary hit music, celebrity news, and entertainment to listeners across the region.

Launched on 14 February 1997 as Kiss 105, the station underwent several rebrandings, becoming Galaxy 105 in 1997, Galaxy Yorkshire in 2006, and finally Capital Yorkshire on 3 January 2011. This rebranding was part of a national strategy by Global Radio to unify its stations under the Capital brand. The station broadcasts from studios located in Leeds, providing localised content for the South and West Yorkshire area.

Programming includes popular shows such as Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Siân Welby, Capital Dance, and Capital Anthems, offering a mix of chart-topping hits, celebrity interviews, and listener interaction segments.
