Gem 106 - Live

Gem 106 was a UK-based radio station serving the East Midlands, primarily Nottingham and Leicester. Launched on 23 September 1997 as Radio 106, it underwent several rebrands, including Century 106 and Heart 106, before adopting the Gem 106 name on 1 January 2011. The station was known for its contemporary hits and local programming. On 2 October 2023, Gem 106 ceased its FM broadcasts and transitioned to a digital-only format. On 17 April 2024, it was rebranded as Hits Radio East Midlands, aligning with Bauer Media’s national strategy.
