Greatest Hits Radio Bristol & The South West delivers a rich mix of classic hits—mainly from the 70s, 80s and 90s—along with a strong local flavour. It serves Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, and wider parts of the South West, blending nostalgic tunes with relevant local content: news, travel, weather, and happenings in the region. The station’s roots go back to 28 November 1999 when it operated as The Breeze (formerly Star, The Eagle etc.), later rebranding into the Greatest Hits network on 1 September 2020 during Bauer’s consolidation of several local stations. The Bristol studio at County Gates, Ashton Road remains central to its regional operations.
