Heart Barnstaple originally launched as North Devon Radio, serving Barnstaple and the surrounding North Devon area with local music, news, and community programming. The station quickly became a familiar voice for listeners across the region.
In March 2009, North Devon Radio was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radioβs Heart Network. Today, Heart Barnstaple plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, alongside local news, travel updates, and entertainment for listeners across North Devon.
