About Heart Cornwall
Heart Cornwall began broadcasting in 1983 as Pirate FM, serving listeners across Cornwall with local music, news, and entertainment. The station built a strong following as one of the county’s best-known local radio services.
In March 2009, it was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radio’s Heart Network. Today, Heart Cornwall plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, while continuing to provide local news and travel for the region.
