About Heart Kent
Heart Kent originally launched in 1984 as Invicta Radio, serving listeners across Kent with local music, news, and community programming. Over the years, it became a key part of the county’s radio landscape.
In March 2009, Invicta Radio was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radio’s Heart Network. Today, Heart Kent plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, alongside local news, travel updates, and entertainment for listeners across the county.
