About Heart Luton
Heart Luton originally launched in 1981 as Chiltern Radio, serving Luton, Dunstable, and surrounding areas with local music, news, and entertainment. The station became a familiar voice for listeners across north Bedfordshire over the following decades.
In March 2009, Chiltern Radio was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radioβs Heart Network. Today, Heart Luton plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, alongside local news, travel updates, and entertainment for listeners across Luton and nearby towns.
