Heart Essex - Live

Heart Essex launched in 1981 as Essex Radio, broadcasting to Chelmsford, Southend, and surrounding areas. Over the years, it became part of a wider network of local stations, providing music, news, and community programming.

In January 2009, Essex Radio was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radio’s Heart Network. Today, Heart Essex plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, alongside local news, travel updates, and entertainment for listeners across the county.
