Heart Torbay originally launched as Torbay Radio in 1993, serving Torquay, Paignton, and surrounding areas with local music, news, and entertainment. The station quickly became a familiar voice for listeners across the Torbay region.

In March 2009, Torbay Radio was rebranded as Heart, joining Global Radio’s Heart Network. Today, Heart Torbay plays the biggest hits and feel-good favourites, alongside local news, travel updates, and entertainment for listeners across Torbay and South Devon.
