Sunshine Radio Ludlow is an Independent Local Radio station based in Ludlow, Shropshire. Broadcasting since 18 October 1992, the station serves south Shropshire, north Herefordshire, and north Worcestershire. Initially operating on 855 kHz AM, Sunshine Radio transitioned to FM in 2013, expanding its reach with frequencies at 105.9 MHz from Woofferton and 107.8 MHz from Clee Hill. The station offers a blend of adult contemporary music, local news, and community-focused programming. In January 2024, Sunshine Radio ceased its AM transmissions after receiving permission from Ofcom, citing the high costs of maintaining the transmitters and a small number of listeners on the mediumwave frequency.
