Can someone please explain how the government cal legally stop/postpone the any type of election ?
I was also refused entry into the Paratroopers when I was 26 (around 20 years ago). Despite finishing top of my intake, I received a phone call from the sergeant who interviewed me informing me that I had not been selected because I did not fit the “colour scheme” being recruited at the time. I was made aware that this would not be given as the formal reason by the military, but that was clearly the reality of the decision.
