Radio Skye - Live

Radio Skye is a community-owned station broadcasting from Portree on the Isle of Skye. It serves the local area of Skye and Lochalsh with a rich mix of music, local news, cultural features, and specialist Gaelic programming.

The station plays a vital role in connecting communities across the Highlands, offering coverage of local events, shinty matches, Highland Games, and cultural festivals. It also provides training opportunities for young people and volunteers, helping to keep local voices at the heart of broadcasting.

Radio Skye began as Cuillin FM in the mid-1990s, initially running under short-term licences before launching as a full-time FM service in 2004. In July 2020, the station rebranded to Radio Skye, reflecting its expanded reach and strong local identity.
